What advice would you give to people who wants to be a barista or get into the coffee industry?: We need people like Paul Basette and Paul at Mecca who are willing to give people advice. Watch and learn from people like them as much as possible.


Favourite pastimes: Mountain bikes, collects watches.


Percs of the Job: Meet a lot of different interesting people. From CEOs to painters to mums to state governor.


Strangest customers' request: Get asked out on dates a lot.
Long black in a tall glass served with skim milk on the side with the spoon in the glass. Has to have golden crema (i.e. when you stretch the shot).
