Cafe BUZZ Laurieton Ren Really good "come back again coffee", but not always served at the right temperature. My last cap was just warm and my companion shot her flat white down in 3 gulps. At least I haven't walked away with moguls on my tongue from a boiling hot brew here. The service can be a bit slow. A lady walked past our table to the counter and asked when her coffee would be served as she had to leave soon. Laurieton doesn't have to be characterised by slow service. Please match the ace coffee with faster service! |

Starbucks Darlinghurst A Charming Oasis in an Ugly Desert Oxford Street may be a friendly place but physically it is an ugly desert of filthy neglected buildings and premises, gone way down since its days of glory. To step into this Starbucks, which is so pretty and clean and inviting, is like an escape hatch, a wormhole into another universe. The slim and slender and kind staff are like swaying palms in a welcome and refreshing oasis. I always feel refreshed even after the briefest visit. |
