The Shangri-La Hotel - Cafe Mix  guest i went to this buffet last sunday. Price is 68 per head. The price is suitable for a 5 star hotel. But the seafood was horrible. The oyster was only available in the first half hour and it was so small, you wouldn't have appetite to eat it. Prawn and mussels were same. The prawn was worth about $10 per kilo in the market. The mussels were so small, you can't see meat inside. There weren't many hotfood to choose either and most of the containers were empty, It was much worse than a $20 buffet in any clubs. The only thing nice may be the chocalate fountain. The fresh fruit were just some mixed mellons, no watermellon. It was a terrible experience. |
